Solar Eclipse Planning Workshop, April 14-15, 2023, Cleveland, OH

WORKSHOP RESCHEDULED & RELOCATED!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to convene the eclipse planning workshop originally scheduled for April 14-15, 2023, at the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

We are postponing the workshop until Friday-Saturday, June 9-10, 2023, and moving it to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the American Astronomical Society's summer meeting will be held June 4-8, 2023. The workshop will be a hybrid, enabling both in-person and remote participation (the latter via Zoom). Registration for the workshop is separate from registration for the AAS meeting.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this unexpected change of plans.

North America will soon be treated to two major solar eclipses, when the Sun, Moon, and Earth align. On both occasions, nearly everyone in the Americas will have at least a partial solar eclipse. Map courtesy Michael Zeiler, GreatAmericanEclipse.com.
